Surface Design with Marjaneh Abbasi
This workshop was held March 20 and 27, 2022 at The Columbus Cultural Arts Center.
Marjaneh is a fiber artist specializing in surface design, collage, and fabric design for apparel. She was previously a faculty member at a university in Iran and is currently an instructor at The Columbus Cultural Arts Center.
We explored printing , painting and collage techniques. We enhanced pieces with paper, string and dimensional paint. We added many layers to add to the complexity of the pieces.
Best of all we worked to music!
The results were beautiful!
